TV of Tomorrow challenged hackers to envision the next iteration of audio/visual communication by conceiving, designing and building forward-looking TV and video applications and experiences. Hackathon hosts and sponsors contributed technologies, platforms, content and knowledge to foster innovations with real-world feasibility. Although participants were given free reign to envision the TV of Tomorrow, emphasis was placed upon apps and experiences that:

• Employ broadcast synchronization
• Favor rich metadata and natural user interfaces
• Explore the relationship between TV and the second screen
