It\u2019s creative professionals dedicated to the content, concept and attention to detail you need to get the most out of production and post.<\/p>\n<p>Video Free America was founded in 1970 by videographer Skip Sweeney, as a place of artistic foment dedicated to pioneering the new genre called &#8220;video art.&#8221; This new form of expression forged an exciting dialogue with artists around the country, and his timely collaborations with San Francisco\u2019s National Center for Experiments in Television and PBS affiliate KQED-TV.<\/p>\n<p>For over thirty years, Video Free America has excelled at innovation. Besides its award-winning television and corporate communications programs, the studio leads with such diverse projects as Skip Sweeney\u2019s interactive video\/performance production co-developed with actor and clown Bill Irwin for Seattle Repertory and performed on Broadway \u2014or new media like &#8220;Psychic Detective,&#8221; an interactive movie developed with director John Sanborn.<\/p>\n<p>Video Free America personnel have produced, shot and edited hundreds of documentaries, travelogues, children\u2019s features, dance and art performances creating programs for PBS and international broadcast.
